Unfortunately IMO too many customers view the site as being just for the purpose you mentioned, to vent, instead of using it for something useful. And it certainly was not, and is not, intended to be a place for customers to "vent" it was and is intended as a site where customers could ask questions and hopefully get answers (from other customers).
It is not, and never was intended to be, a place where Verizon employees help customers, although there are a few Verizon reps here who do try to help with certain problem areas, primarily areas where other customers cannot help. If it is a gmail account with POP3 just go to and in accounts settings ->security settings->App Password and create a new app password for outlook and use that password in outlook. Outlook Express was the free email client on XP and does not work on Vista or Windows 7/8.Ģ) This "blog space" as you called it is really a place where Verizon customers can help other Verizon customers. Outlook is part of various MS Office packages and is still considered their strategic email platform. I think this "blog space" is just to allow users to vent as I have yet to see any attempt by V support to respond to anything here.ġ) I think maybe you are confusing Outlook with Outlook Express. I thought MS was moving outlook users to Win Live anyway.Ĭant say I am impressed w Verizon support. As we will add gmail account to Outlook 2013, click on Add Account as shown in the screenshot.
If not, Gmail will send all existing (even read) messages to HESK when it first.
Pop3 gmail settings for outlook 2013 manual#
Try using Windows live and if that workss then it may be Outlook. POP3 Host: POP3 Port: 995 TLS Protocol: ON POP3 Username: (your Gmail username) POP3 Password: (your Gmail password) Important: make 100 sure that 'POP3 download' in your Gmail settings is set to 'Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on'. Check Manual setup or additional server types and click Next. Most likely an issue with Verizon POP and SMTP settings in your email client.
