I am, however, an unfortunate Mac user --only unfortunate, of course, in the realm of the sims. My sims games never work. Setup sonicwall vpn on mac.
I can only run the sims on my OS x emac without anything else running (the emac g4 is otherwise perfectly capable of running multiple programs). On my older iMacs, the sims always crashed. It still crashes, not as often, but it runs slowly and lags. I can't download objects because they slow up the game intolerably and if I attempt to install additional skins they crash the game. I've tried everything it seems like and nothing works. I'm wondering if the SIMS 2 pc version work if I install virtual pc.
From what I gather, virtual pc is rather a hefty purchase and i'm really only doing it so i could get the sims 2 and be guaranteed it would work. But i want that guarantee. Does anyone know if it would work? Also i just don't want to wait for the overpriced and likely overdue mac version. I am obsessed with the Sims.
